Best Dressed Poll: Louis Vuitton – The SERIES 2 Exhibition Opening

Last night Louis Vuitton unveiled an unconventional exhibition entitled “SERIES 2 – Past, Present and Future” with a special red–err black carpet soirée in Los Angeles with the help of celebrity friends like Rosamund Pike, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, and Dianna Agron who joined LV’s Chairman & CEO Michael Burke and Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections for the French fashion house. The SERIES 2 exhibition will run from February 6th through the 22nd.

Rosamund Pike: The “Gone Girl” actress (and Oscar nominee) selected a powder blue high neck long-sleeve micro mini dress from the Spring 2015 collection that she partnered with a strappy pair of Brian Atwood “Tamara” black leather sandals.

Riley Keough: The “Mad Max: Fury Road” star let her long honey-colored waves cascade over the vibrant turquoise printed zip-front dress, also from the Spring 2015 collection. Riley coordinated her accessories with a chambray blue crossbody bag that perfectly matched her stacked heel ankle boots.

Michelle Williams: The current face of the brand selected a bright white look that included a three-quarter sleeved shift dress with a colorful embroidered panel at the neck and strappy blanc sandals from the Cruise 2015 collection.

Brie Larson: “The Gambler” actress donned a full Spring 2015 look that included a knit tee, grey marbled shorts, and a navy double breasted jacket that played nicely with a small handbag and double strapped pumps in contrasting blue tones.

Jennifer Connelly: The “Noah” actress rocked a purple micro floral print zip-front long sleeve dress that black leather panels and leather inserts at the neck. The darker elements paired nicely with Jen’s black clutch and shiny embroidered ankle boots from the Fall 2014 collection.

Alexa Chung: Donned from head-to-toe in an Fall/Winter 2014 runway ensemble, the English model stunned in a white shift dress and a bi-color leather and sienna trench to go with her patent black booties. She carried a monogram top handle clutch.

Grimes: The 26-year-old Canadian singer opted for quite the eclectic look by coordinating her burgundy and navy patented leather striped Spring 2015 jacket with matching shiny knee-high boots. Grimes added solid pieces to break up the look with a black skirt and tights before finishing with a monogram crossbody box bag and oversize sunglasses with vibrant red lenses.

Dianna Agron: The “Glee” actress selected a playful contrasting printed blouse and swing skirt inspired by a look from the Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Dianna kept the look appropriate for winter with black tights and strappy satin pumps before put the finishing touches on with a “Épi Petite-Malle” red clutch and a matte pout to match.

Karen Gillan: The “Selfie” star was down for all-black-everything with her button-front Spring 2015 leather shift dress that she partnered with a matching crossbody bag and the same double-strapped suede pumps.

Emilia Clarke: The “Games of Thrones” actress added a pop of red to break up her almost-all black outfit with a cheery scarlet zip front short sleeve top. The English beauty tucked her top into a A-line shiny leather skirt with zipper pocket accents before finishing with strappy Cruise 2015 sandals.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw: Red and black was a popular trend of the night as the “Beyond the Lights” star opted for a siren red sleeveless fit-and-flare dress. Keeping the look with zero-fuss, Gugu wore her hair back in a sleek up-do before putting the finishing touches on with a poppy red lipstick, a black bag and the same strappy pumps that Dianna, Brie, and Karen wore.

Haley Bennett: “The Equalizer” actress went all-out with a head-to-toe ensemble from the Spring 2015 runway presented, which included a zig-zag printed top, a powder blue contrast blazer, denim trousers and maroon boots. As if the outfit wasn’t bold enough, Haley wore her golden curls partially piled up in a retro pin-up victory rolls.

Juno Temple: The 25-year-old “Maleficent” actress kept it simple with wavy locks, a black zip-front dress with a sweet flounced hem and accessories from the Cruise 2015 collection–including strappy sandals and a “Épi Petite-Malle” clutch.

Charlotte Gainsbourg: Dressed in denim-on-denim, the Anglo-French actress wore a zipped jacket and flared crop pants from the Pre-Fall 2015 line that she paired with a low-cut striped blouse with a zipper detailed front. So, I guess she was going for zippers-on-zippers as well. Patterned gold and teal Spring 2015 boots provided the finishing touch.

Liu Wen: The 27-year-old Chinese model stunned in Look 46 from the Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-to-Wear collection; a printed peplum long sleeve blouse with black peg leg trousers that feature brown leather side panels and buckled knee pad detail. Liu added a contrasting burst of red with a bi-color oversize clutch and monogram boots.

Catherine Deneuve: The beloved French actress selected the divine lace-embroidered black trench coat dress from the Cruise 2015 collection. Much like the styling from the runway, Catherine partnered the piece with strappy sandals and a top handle bag–only she opted for a deep blue quilted flap bag over pale pink. Peach makeup and a swept back mane completed her look.
